Cleo was collected from Charney in 2003. She is a lovely dog, and we are very happy with her - we were told she was very quiet and placid. Well, she has found her voice and wags her tail constantly, but is still very placid in temperament! She hasn't wandered since we got her, and loves to be the centre of attention - especially when there is food around.

One picture shows Tilley, our other dog, who was also rescued but not from Charney. She was a dog that wasn't wanted when her owner got married - the new husband did not like dogs in the house and Tilley would have been confined to a kennel outside. We took her in when she was 8, having lived indoors all her life. She is now 17. Personally, the dog would have come first that situtation for me - I'd have ditched the man!
